Norwegian Gov’t Calls for Hearing on Use of Open Source

Geir Noklebye writes “The Norwegian Ministry of Modernization has sent out a document for hearing for “The Use of Open IT-Standards and Open Source Code in Public Sector”. The document calls for an end to proprietary document formats in communication with the public sector and for all of government to make plans for use of OSS by end of 2006.”
