Netscape is partially responsible for the beginning of another browser (the programme you log on to the internet with) battle—the fledgling Firefox vs the mighty Microsoft. Six years after Explorer wiped out Netscape from computer screens across the globe, Firefox—developed by teenager Blake Ross—is using the Netscape source code, which it inherited in 1998, to become the new mantra for the growing breed of anti-Bill Gates geeks.
