OFBiz GL Released under Community Funding Model

Si Chen writes “The General Ledger application for the Open For Business (www.ofbiz.org) open source project has been released by two of the core developers of Open For Business under a community funding model. Under this model, the core developers create the application and ask members of the community for supporting contributions. When total contributions cover the cost of development, the application is released as open source. This way, the seed for an open source application can be “jump started” through a concentrated development effort.”
