The attempt to discredit the CIO of Massachusetts for his decision to use truly open document formats (and not a proprietary lock-in) has resulted in one of the most blatantly obvious attempts to discredit a CIO I have seen to date. According to a story from CBR Online, Massachusetts has decided to give “Microsoft Office nod, Probes CIO.””
