An open letter to Daniel Lyons

Anonymous Reader writes “Last week, Daniel Lyons wrote a rather thoughtless epigram towards the Free Software community. In a rampant act of desperation, he criticized and belittled our efforts to establish freedom in a context in which it was being removed, and to preserve the liberties we did not yet know were on the table to lose. Within his article were numerous inaccuracies, some of which could be easily alleviated with five minutes of Google searches. His overzealous bias interrupted my somber disposition to the point that I felt elected by circumstance to write this open letter.”
