Open Source Advocacy Papers

Ethan Sommer writes “Many organizations could benefit from using Open Source Software, but are often turned off by “Linux Zealots” who don’t always use the best arguments for why they should switch.

We’ve created a repository for well reasoned arguments for OSS aimed at convincing the decision makers. We started out with a document explaining why schools should use OSS, but will hopefully add papers on OSS in government, businesses, and public libraries next. We’d like to do so in the “open” sprit of OSS, and would love any input or “patches” you have.

Check it out http://ossadvocacy.org/.”
