Oreillynet.com has an interview with the U.S. Census Bureau’s Lisa Nyman on the agency’s use of Open Source software. She says, “I think right now open source is still largely an unknown entity among many in the government, although educational efforts, like the CPI/GSA workshops are helping to introduce people in IT management to open source as a serious solution. It’s definitely a hot topic right now.”
