Open Source: Good for Employees, Employers
Chuck Talk writes "This last week saw two Internet giants girding for battle in what can only be described as a war of the billion dollar companies. First Microsoftfiled suit against arch-rival Google, a company that has a significant lead in the Internet search and Internet application market over the Redmond giant software proprietor. The lawsuit was sparked by Google's hiring of a former Microsoft executive, specifically Mr. Kai-Fu Lee, for their Research and Development Labs for Product Development. Microsoft also filed suit against Mr. Lee, stating that he was in violation of a non-compete agreement in their employment contract."
