John Wall writes “Washington Publishing Company has released XML Schema’s representing the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) transaction sets.
Up until now, XML/Open Source representations of the HIPAA transactions have not been available. Commercial versions are very expensive and require proprietary processing applications.
These schema’s are being released by the publishers of the HIPAA Transaction Set Standards and represent complete XML versions of each HIPAA transaction. XSD schema’s and documentation are available for immediate download at http://www.wpc-edi.com.”
