Open source: where we are now. where we are going
SilentBob4 writes "Humans have never really know limitless abundance, although there have been periods of North American history (and particularly in the US) in which North Americans have believed as if natural resources were limitless, and have acted on that belief. Many would argue that the proliferation of SUVs in North America and drilling in fragile arctic and subarctic wilderness areas shows that the North American belief in limitless resources is still alive and well (or sick, depending on your perspective). Nuclear power was once called "too cheap to meter." Ahem...."
