EARLIER this month, the nice folks at OpenWatcom.org released version 1.4 of the Open Watcom compiler and “multi-target integrated development environment”. Open Watcom is the offspring of the C/C++ compilers formerly known as “Watcom C++” and “Watcom Fortran” and which used to sell for around $350 bucks each at the time of its version eleven commercial product.
