openMosix will be at ClusterWorld June 24-26, 2003

Bruce Knox, openMosix Project writes “Cupertino (June 23, 2003) – AMD is hosting an openMosix demo in its booth at ClusterWorld June 24-26th in the San Jose Convention Center.

ClusterWorld Conference and Expo is the first event to focus exclusively on clustered systems. The entire conference and expo will focus upon clustering solutions for business, research and academia.

openMosix contributor Stefano Cozzini of Democritos INFM National Simulation Cente will present Benchmarking I/O Solutions for Clusters, a paper coauthored with openMosix Project Leader Moshe Bar.

The openMosix demo will be presented in AMD’s booth (101) for the duration of the Expo.

openMosix is a Linux kernel extension for single-system image (SSI) clustering that allows building a cluster from networked computers. Applications benefit without modification specifically for openMosix.
