The OS Launch Wars

It’s not like you can quickly throw random components together into an application, release it, and then expect fame and fortune. You can tell that some software developers try to get by on this methodology, but it just doesn’t work. Building software is like writing a story – it takes time, perseverance, and planning. There is a definite process that is involved, and executing it properly can take months or even years. Therefore, when you wrap things up with the launch date, you can look back and feel good about the work that you did – unless, of course, it’s garbage.”
