Gentu writes “Hekkelman Programmatuur released their powerful programmer’s editor, Pepper, for FreeBSD and Linux (both PPC and x86). Pepper supports syntax highlighting for many programming languages, it has advanced features like the “Accelerator Editor”, and it supports both SDI and MDI interfaces. Check a screenshot here. This first version of Pepper for Unix, has a limitation that requires the app to run only on 24bpp color under X11. The company said recently that they might build a Solaris binary soon as well.”
