Philippines-based SpecOpS Labs demonstrated its software that allows Windows-based applications to run seamlessly on the Linux computer operating system
SpecOpS Chief Executive Frederick Lewis said the company’s “middleware,” or bridge software, codenamed David, will promote the use of the free and open-source Linux operating system, reducing the cost of owning a computer and challenging the dominance of Microsoft Corp in the $300 million operating system market.
