Picn*x 12 – Celebrating Linux’s birthday

12
Bill Kendrick writes “In 2001, ‘Linux10,’ the anniversary picnic and barbecue, celebrated the Linux kernel’s 10th birthday.

That tradition continues this year, with ‘Picn*x12.’ The Silicon Valley, East Bay and Davis Linux Users Groups of California, along with sbay.org, have coordinated this year’s event, which will once again take place at the Sunnyvale Baylands Park.

This year’s event is being sponsored by Oracle Corp. As with past events, food will be prepared by volunteers, and served
free of charge! (Great for starving Open Source developers!)

Picn*x12 will be taking place on Saturday, August 9th – just days after LinuxWorld Expo ends in San Francisco. For
more information, and to RSVP, visit the Picn*x website: www.LinuxPicnic.org. See you there!”
