Anonymous Reader writes “Sony has announced that the PlayStation 3 will require a hard disk drive which will include Linux support at launch. It’s not yet clear if Linux will be pre-installed out-of-box, but Sony’s Ken Kutaragi has commented before on bundling Linux with the PS3 for PC functionality.”
