All of the guides are available in many different languages, with more being added all the time. Both Canonical and Lulu do not make any profit at all on the sale of the community written books, the cost is only that of manufacture and postage.
The Official Ubuntu Desktop Guide only costs $6.49 plus postage, free downloadable PDF files and online copies are also available from http://help.ubuntu.com. All the guides are dual licenced under the GFDL and Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licences.”
