Privacy advocates take aim at Windows XP

Junkbusters and the Electronic Privacy Information Center are among the five groups expected to the file a complaint the U.S. Federal Trade Commission on Thursday regarding Microsoft’s Windows XP operating system. The privacy advocates will ask the FTC to prevent the launched of Windows XP, claiming the Microsoft’s inclusion of Passport and other software will erode unknowing consumer’s privacy.
