Puget Sound Technology teaching FreeBSD class in Phoenix, Arizona

Events Coordinator writes "Puget Sound Technology, a provider of consulting and outsourced
administration for BSD, Linux and open source software, is teaching
a hands-on class covering the fundamentals of FreeBSD system
administration, June 23 - 27, in Phoenix, Arizona.

This training will cover beginning Unix shell and command line
essentials, FreeBSD installation, system administration
fundamentals, and the basics of mail server, DNS, and
Apache HTTPD administration.

"Although this class focuses on FreeBSD, many of the skills will
be applicable for Linux and other Unix or BSD administrators," said

skills, the class will cover syslog, cron, security auditing,
building from source, packet filtering, starting and stopping
services, Postfix, and a lot more."
