ClusterFrame/SSI brings true Single-System-Image features for the first time to the IA-32 world. New technologies (NetworkRAMâ„¢, SocketMigrationâ„¢, and Distributed Shared Memory) free ClusterFrame/SSI from the restrictions of previous high performance clustering solutions while retaining a virtually unlimited ability to scale.
ClusterFrame software is bundled with Dell, IBM or HP IA-32 computers using best of class fast interconnects such as Dolphin, Myrinet, InfiniBand®, and switched Gigabit Ethernet. These low cost commodity hardware components enable Qlusters to deliver the best Total Cost of Ownership for a mainframe-computing platform. The solution is linearly scalable and handles heterogeneous components by design.
