Red Hat rakes in the revenue

Red Hat announced a 37% jump in revenue for its fourth quarter compared to the same quarter last year, and an increase of 42% for the whole year ended Feb. 28.

The open source market leader hovered up $78.7 m in the last quarter — up eight percent from the prior quarter — and $278.3 m over the year, with subscription revenues making up most of that. Red Hat also owns cash, cash equivalents, and investments of $1.1 b.
