IDG News Service reports on Red Hat’s newest financial report. “Linux software maker Red Hat Tuesday
reported a break-even quarter in terms of
adjusted earnings per share as its revenue
slipped 15% from the same quarter a year ago
in the midst of a slower market for corporate
software.

The maker of the Red Hat Linux open-source
operating system lost $100,000, with flat
earnings per share in the fiscal second quarter,
which ended Aug. 31, after adjusting for
one-time charges.” More from Reuters.
