NewsFactor Network writes, “In a move intended to bring open source computing to large-scale operations, Linux distributor Red Hat unveiled its first enterprise-class server software Tuesday. Linux Advanced Server is intended to ease corporate migration from UNIX-based systems to Linux. The Advanced Server is expected to become available in April, starting at US$800 per system.”
