The announcement comes shortly after the launch of the product’s new version, and even shorter after it has been awarded Virus Bulletin’s prestigious VB100% certification.

The RedHat Ready logo means that BitDefender for Samba is certified by RedHat Inc,. to be compatible with the world’s most popular enterprise Linux distribution, as well as official support from BitDefender for RedHat installations of BitDefender for Samba.

“This is the result of a lot of great work from our development team. BitDefender customers can now expect flawless installation and operation of this product on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. As a part of our strategy of producing easy to install and to use products, this certification comes to complement other recent developments. We have open-sourced our vfs integration module and built remote management solutions for the same reasons: a better smoother customer experience,” declared a BitDefender representative.
