Shawn Brennan writes “PCLOS is a distribution created by Texstar and
crew that is based off of Mandriva. PCLOS is RPM-based, but
offers Synaptic/apt-get for upgrading and updating the system.
PCLOS comes in the form of an installable LiveCD, which is a great way to try
out the system before deciding whether or not you want to install
the system to the hard drive. This distribution’s meant for
Linux newcomers, but is also powerful enough for the most
hardened system administrator.”
