NaN (Not a Number), maker of the popular 3D program “Blender,” filed for bankruptcy and ended the sale of all its programs. At about the same time, Sorcerer Gnu/Linux (SGL), a popular source-based distribution, was abandoned by its creator, Kyle Sallee. The fate of the two programs and their users could not have been more different, however.”
