Anonymous Reader writes “After a few months in beta, SciTech Software has just released the final version of their main product, SciTech SNAP Graphics, for Linux. The 2D drivers are reportedly much faster than the equivelants found on the default XFree86 release. There is also a review by the LinuxFormat magazine about the project. Overall, it is something that is worth checking out if you are into additional speed and feature-set, too bad though that Nvidia cards and hardware accelerated OpenGL are not supported at all by these drivers.”
