The XO laptop — the computer that the OLPC organization hopes will one day sell for $100 — currently has a nominal value of just under $200. Buyers looking for the computers on eBay, however, will likely find them going for much more than that. U.S. consumers, it seems, are willing to pay a premium for the distinct yet bare-bones computers, if only for the novelty factor.
