Anonymous Reader writes “OSNews did a quick survey of the current consumer video solutions (e.g. not Maya or Edie) on Linux and found that they either lack easy installation or they are too underpowered or too alpha quality to be considered for home or other use. The article concludes that there is a certain space to be filled up today in the Linux “market” and wishes that companies that make beautiful and elegant software like Ximian and TheKompany step up and develop something that’s actually usable by most people for some integrated editing and video burning.”
