Student expelled for email fraud

Author: JT Smith

AustralianIT: "Murdoch's senate confirmed the administration's expulsion recommendation on Monday night. It is the university's fifth expulsion. The male student was studying in a twinning program with a Malaysian institution, Kolej Damasara Utama.

Under the bachelor of commerce program, the student was enrolled at Murdoch but was being taught by KDU staff under Murdoch's direction. The man is understood to have created a false email account in a KDU staffer's name to get information.

After receiving answers by email, apparently from KDU staff, the man allegedly shared the results with two other students before the exam."
