Wired.com reports from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, where students accuse the college of letting Microsoft buy its way into the curriculum. “At issue is whether the C# programming course will be mandatory. In its news release announcing the partnership, Microsoft said C# course completion would be mandatory for new students seeking admission to the school’s electrical and computer engineering programs.”
