Anonymous Reader writes “Eugenia (of OSNews fame) put together a mockup suggesting a UI for GTK+’s new file selector to debut with Gnome 2.6. There are some very interesting ideas there, like the Path Navigator, a description of the whole logic used and an explanation as to why the window sports an [unusual] vertical layout (which might buffle experienced users in the beginning but might prove to be more intuitive for new users).”
