Sun, HP say SCO's claim is not relevant

The SCO Group's attempt to gain royalties from Linux will not affect Sun, according to chief executive Scott McNealey.

Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard say SCO Group's attempt to obtain royalties for inappropriate uses of Unix isn't likely to affect them, while
Linux specialist Red Hat said it would defend itself vigorously against any challenges.
