xLswitch goes beyond simple load balancing and server health monitoring. Unlike competitors, which stop parsing IP packets at their headers, xLswitch can inspect the application-level protocols, looking for URLs, user names, cookies, etc., and redirect traffic or change the session quality-of-service parameters based on the requested content. XLswitch combines core high-performance traffic management with extensive capabilities for bandwidth management.
xLswitch is supplied with graphical multiplatform management tools, allowing easy creation of complex configurations, including load balancing, content redirection, traffic shaping and prioritization, and failover capabilities.
