NEW ROCHELLE, NY, Oct. 10, 2004 â Symbio Technologies, a leader in software that manages true diskless thin client networks running Windows® and Linux® applications, has set the first standards for installing and supporting those networks with a new training and certification program for its value-added resellers (VARs).
Symbio Technologiesâ first course â training to become a Symbiont Certified Technician⢠â will be offered on Thursday, October 14, starting at 9 a.m. at its offices in New Rochelle. Information and registration is available at (914) 576-1205 or online at www.symbio-technologies.com
Three Levels of Training
âSymbio Technologies plans to offer three levels of training to our VARs,â said Lewis Tischler, the companyâs CFO and director of VAR relations. âWe will soon offer a two-day Symbiont Certified Engineer⢠class and a two-day Symbiont Certified Developer⢠program.
âTrue diskless thin client networks â without hard, floppy or CD-ROM drives or memory â continue to grow all over the U.S. and around the world,â he said. âThe popularity of these networks continues to spread from education and government to small and larger businesses, all of whom have embraced the financial and technological benefits of a âgreen and leanâ system which doesnât crash, corrupt or create havoc through viruses.
âNow, by setting training standards on how to install, service and support true diskless thin client networks, Symbio Technologies is stepping up to lead our marketplace,â he said.
