System Health Monitoring for Linux

Brian C. Lane writes “I’ve got a new project that I’ve just released. System Health Monitoring is a Python program that generates Round Robin Database graphs of system information like network traffic, memory and load, disk usage (including those pesky inodes), and running processes (ie. how many httpd daemons were running).

You can find it at http://www.brianlane.com/systemhealth.php and you can see the graphs it produces at http://www.brianlane.com/~health/health/

I have released this using a new license from Dan Bricklin as an experiment to see how well an open source project using a license other than GPL is received (and to try to make a bit of money). License details are at http://www.brianlane.com/licenses.php, but it basically boils down to being free for non-commercial use and $10 for commercial use.”
