There Too Many Compromises in the New "Spam Law"
Kelly McNeill writes "Spam is without a doubt one of the largest blemishes on the Internet today. There is virtually nothing that can be done to rid oneself from unsolicited e-mail. The problem is currently being tackled by some of the largest technology companies within the industry and is also being attacked by the U.S. government. While many had high expectations for the U.S. involvement in the matter, individuals like osViews editorial contributor Doug Chick believe that such laws don't even begin to start canning the spam."
