the Shared Source vs. Open Source: Debate and Panel Discussion, this event was being billed by many as the first real shot for the Open Source community to square off with Microsoft “toe to toe.”

He’s been intrigued with open source software / free software, and began collecting statistics about OSS that resulted in the “Why OSS/FS” thesis that is being presented by David Tonight.
