Segment One- The News. We will cover THE HOT NEWS of the last few weeks tonight. In particular, we will be joined by Ann Gabriel, President of the newly formed Webcaster Alliace, to discuss the latest setback of the webcasting industry.
Ann is CEO and founder of Gabriel Media, Inc., has been producing streaming media events since 1998. She has hosted numerous technological and entertainment-related webcasting events including CES, COMDEX, Networld+Interop and NAB. Although not part of what most people would identify as main stream or typical webcasters, she has a unique passion for the industry group and what it represents as a tool of free speech. This passion is so strong, that with the split up last week of a couple of webcastings larger trade associations, Ann was asked to be President of the new upstart trade association Webcaster Alliace. Webcaster Alliance will serve all areas of the streaming media community (not just the big networks) and hopes to lay the groundwork which will showcase the revolution of Industry group. membership is open to all who are a part of the streaming media community - webcasters, hardware and software manufacturers and providers, content developers and support services.

Segment Two- Linux Do It Yourself Project- A Kick Ass Raid Stream Server
Last week we once again ran over and so tonight we are presenting the second project from last week. This is the basic hardware set up of the Radio Free Universe project that is being co-developed by Geekcast (our company) and Radio Paradise in California.
For those interested in participating in the project, and for those who are just interestd in streaming, we are kicking this off by publishing the notes on the physical buildout of the server. Over the next several weeks, interested parties can follow the project and end up with their own kick ass streaming server.
