We will be joined tonight by one of the SAMBA TEAM founders, John Terpstra Talking
about Samba, some books penned by John and a new initiative fostered by John. Of note is
that as of today, Samba 3.0.2 is available for download to the Samba FTP site

Every now and then an application program comes along that can truley be called
a “Killer Application.” Samba is one of those. Samba continues to rack up
awards at Open Source conferences year after year. Samba is an Open Source/Free Software
suite that provides seamless file and print services to SMB/CIFS clients. Samba is freely
available under the GNU General Public License.
