Top 5 reasons not to install Linux
My name is Phil Jones. I am a freelance computer engineer, mainly serving home users. About three years ago, I was keen on installing Linux (full title GNU/Linux) desktop software distributions for my customers, who are mostly home users. This was mainly to help them avoid viruses, and also because it looked like fun. Since then, my enthusiasm has waned and I rarely mention the possibility of installing Linux on the desktop any more. So here we go, here are my top 5 bitter-experience reasons for not giving Linux desktops to home users...
