Linux enthusiasts are anxiously awaiting the next version of the Linux kernel (Torvalds hints a beta version could be available this week), which promises more features and enhancements that could further accelerate its use inside of enterprise data centers. In this e-mail interview, Torvalds offers more details about the 2.6 kernel and talks about some of the issues central to the SCO Group’s action against IBM Corp. and Linux.”
