Transmeta cuts second-quarter sales forecasts

Bloomberg: “Transmeta Corp., a start-up chipmaker that
competes with Intel Corp., reduced its second-quarter sales forecast by almost half as the Japanese
economy slows and computer makers there scale back purchases.”
