Ubuntu Adding Mobile Streaming to its Ubuntu One Cloud Service

Ubuntu One, the free syncing service given to every user of Ubuntu’s Linux operating system, is stepping up its appeal by adding mobile music streaming to its service. Right now there’s an early-stage Android client for users to try out, but Ubuntu plans to bring the service soon to iOS devices and other platforms. You can learn more and sign up for the beta at Ubuntu’s wiki site. It’s an interesting take on the role of an OS provider—letting users stream whatever music they already have to their own devices.
