It argues that Mono and GTK# have several advantages over C and GTK+ and while recognizes that Mono is not completely robust yet, it will be very soon and can offer some good solutions to developers and users. It also forsees Sun’s opposition of GTK#’s integration into Gnome and the questionmark around Red Hat’s intentions on the subject. Ultimately it will be the community and the developers who will take these decisions and it seems that already many Gnome developers are starting developing for GTK# with great results in regards to speed of development and lesser buggy code.”
