VectorLinux 4 against all odds

Well, it’s that time again. The developers of VectorLinux have released version 4.0 of their acclaimed Slackware derivative and have delivered a copy to Mad Penguin for review.

For those that may not be familiar, VectorLinux 4 is based upon Slackware 9.0/kernel 2.4.22, and is a version of Linux that excels on older hardware.
