This distribution made a very good impression on me during the time I have spent with it and it will be remaining on my desktop for some time to come. Though it is not really one of the better known Linux distributions it appears to be growing due to its speed and capability. Though VectorLinux SOHO 5.1.1 is a well-rounded package and anyone with a basic understand of Linux will be able to take advantage of it. Being based on Slackware means it is not quite as user-friendly as something like Linspire, but you do know that is it working from a stable and powerful base. For many people it would be worth the time to get used to it, because VectorLinux’s speed and stability make it an attractive package.”
