Venezuela’s National Assembly (AN) has started a debate on a bill to implement “free software” in government institutions … the proposal was introduced October 21 by AN deputy Luis Tascon and urges the five independent branches of Government: Executive, Legislative, Judiciary, Moral and Electoral including all official entities to adopt free software as an exclusive working platform via the GNU/Linux operative system.
