Virus Storm, SCO/IBM/Linux and The BBC, US Style

Companies across the world are reporting what is probably the worst virus outbreak ever, due to the SOBIG virus, which has struck just as the virus
Blaster was waning. SOBIG has been around for 6 months, but it has been "mutating". Mutating is, of course a metaphor. What appears to happen is that
the virus writing community is a happy to take an existing virus and add something and this is what happened with SOBIG, making it more virulent than
it was.
